A Lyons resident has been arrested following an outstanding warrant for missing a court appearance related to prior charges, according to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office. Dakota J. Norris, 29, was originally issued an appearance ticket on September 12 after an incident in Lyons that led to charges of obstructing governmental administration and resisting arrest.
After failing to appear in court, a warrant was issued for Norris, who was subsequently located and taken into custody by Deputy Lucia on November 6. Norris was transported to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office, where he awaits centralized arraignment to address the outstanding charges.
The Sheriff’s Office has not released further details regarding the circumstances of Norris’s initial charges.
