The StarShine Committee announced that this year’s StarShine festivities and Lights on Wheels Parade will take place together on Saturday, December 7, marking a change from the traditional two-night event. All StarShine activities will be relocated to the Yates County Courtyard, shifting from their previous Main Street location.
This year, the Lights on Wheels Parade will follow an extended route, starting at East Main Street by the Yates County Fairgrounds and concluding on North Main Street in front of the Yates Community Center. The Committee hopes combining the events will ease volunteer demands while enhancing the community experience.
Beloved StarShine traditions like visits with Santa, Elf School, and tractor rides will continue, while efforts are underway to encourage attendees to explore downtown shops and restaurants during the celebration. Further details on promotional activities for Main Street businesses will be announced soon.
