The NFL announced Wednesday that Buffalo Bills kicker Tyler Bass is the AFC Special Teams Player of the Week for his performance in Week 9 against the Miami Dolphins.
FRESH TAKES: 2026 NFL Preview (podcast) Bass made a franchise-record and career-high 61-yard field goal with five seconds left in the contest to lift the Bills to a 30-27 victory over the Dolphins.
He became the ninth kicker all-time and the first since Greg Joseph in 2022 with a game-winning field goal of 60 or more yards in the final two minutes of regulation or in overtime.
Bass also improved to 9-for-9 on field goal attempts in the last minute of the fourth quarter or overtime in his career and has made five game-winning field goals in the final minute of the game.
This marks the first time Bass has earned player of the week honors in his career.
