House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries joined New York lawmakers at Tucker Baptist Church in Syracuse on Saturday to rally support for Democratic congressional candidate John Mannion.
With Election Day approaching, speakers urged attendees to vote for Mannion, emphasizing his dedication to the Central New York community.
“We owe it to our children and our grandchildren to make sure that the promise that was given to us by our parents and our grandparents we come through on,” Mannion stated.
Jeffries praised Mannion’s character, noting his commitment to prioritizing people over politics and seeking solutions for Central New York.
