A 64-year-old Geneva woman was arrested for trespassing Saturday afternoon after returning to a Walmart store despite being formally barred from the property, according to Ontario County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded to the Walmart on State Route 5 in Geneva around 4:20 p.m. after reports from store asset protection employees, who attempted unsuccessfully to have Adrienne A. Hunt, 64, of Genesis Way, formally trespassed from the property. Upon arrival, deputies assisted in issuing a formal trespass order to Hunt and escorted her from the premises.
However, shortly after being escorted to the parking lot, Hunt re-entered the store while deputies were still on the scene. She was then taken into custody for trespassing and issued an appearance ticket. Hunt is scheduled to appear in Geneva Town Court at a later date to respond to the charge.
No further information on the incident has been released by authorities.
