The folklore of Finn MacCool, the storied Irish hero, will come to life on Nov. 8 at The Three Bears in Ovid, featuring a performance by storyteller Jay Leeming. Organizers say Leeming’s rendition of the Finn MacCool saga is designed to engage audiences with tales of mythical creatures, warriors, and landscapes that shaped Irish lore. Known for weaving elements of whimsy and the supernatural, the Finn MacCool tales follow the hero and his band of warriors as they confront wizards, goddesses, and fire-breathing monsters, defending their homeland with both force and artistry.
