Police in Penn Yan have charged a local man with endangering the welfare of a child after a reported altercation involving a young child, authorities said.
Jason D. Dunaway, 30, allegedly picked up another resident’s child and screamed in the child’s face, causing distress. Police responded to the complaint and subsequently arrested Dunaway on October 16.
He was charged with child endangerment and was issued an appearance ticket for Penn Yan Village Court, where he will address the allegations​.
