Visitors to Destiny USA were met with surprise as T.G.I. Fridays abruptly closed its restaurant at the Syracuse mall. A sign posted on the establishment’s doors Thursday announced the immediate shutdown, catching both patrons and mall officials off guard.
Destiny USA representatives stated they were not informed of the closure ahead of time. The restaurant chain had previously announced plans to close approximately 40 locations nationwide earlier this year.
The sudden closure adds to a series of recent departures from the mall, raising concerns about the stability of some businesses within Destiny USA.
