A 39-year-old Shortsville resident was arrested by Canandaigua police on October 21 for allegedly selling crack cocaine earlier this year.
Shawn M. Stenglein faces a charge of criminal sale of a controlled substance in the third degree, a felony. Authorities allege that on June 12, Stenglein sold crack cocaine to a known individual within the city of Canandaigua.
Following his arrest, Stenglein was processed at the Ontario County Jail, where he awaits arraignment. The investigation is ongoing.
