A Fulton woman was arrested following a domestic disturbance in Sterling earlier this month, the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office reported.
On October 8, at approximately 8:42 p.m., deputies were dispatched to a residence after receiving reports of a physical altercation happening outside. Before law enforcement arrived, the individuals involved had left the scene in a vehicle.
An investigation into the incident led authorities to determine that Haley J. Sellin had intentionally broken a window at the residence by using a rock. With assistance from both Cayuga and Oswego County 911 centers, as well as the Fulton Police Department, Sellin was located and taken into custody.
Sellin was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief, a misdemeanor, and transported to the Cayuga County Public Safety Building. She was later released on her own recognizance and is expected to appear in Sterling Town Court at a future date.
