A Locke woman has been charged with multiple counts of criminal impersonation and falsifying business records after being stopped twice by Cayuga County deputies, authorities said.
Sheriff Brian Schenck reported that on October 13, deputies arrested Shannon L. Nobles on two counts of second-degree criminal impersonation and one count of falsifying business records, all misdemeanors. Nobles had been stopped by deputies in two separate incidents in the Towns of Summerhill and Sempronius, where she provided false identification and other personal information.
Nobles was taken into custody on an outstanding arrest warrant and later arraigned at Centralized Arraignment Court, where she was released. The charges also include traffic violations related to the incidents.
