Walworth’s Haunted Hayride Returns with Spine-Chilling Thrills

Get ready for a fright-filled adventure as Walworth’s haunted hayride makes a spooktacular comeback. Ghosts and goblins lurk behind every bend of the eerie wooded trail, promising a 20-minute excursion that will keep you on the edge of your seat—even before you board the creepy wagon.

Hosted by Chip and Lorraine Rieck, the event features student volunteers from Gananda and Wayne Central schools, each donning their own ghoulish costumes along the haunted path. Additional volunteers, including local Rotary club members and parents, handle parking and logistics. Tickets are $10 per rider, with proceeds supporting the Gananda Rotary’s student scholarships and programs throughout the year.

The haunted hayride continues on October 18 and 19 and wraps up on Friday, October 25. Gates open at 7 p.m., and the last tickets are sold at 9:30 p.m. Don’t miss this annual can’t-miss event that offers both thrills and community support.
