Two people were killed in a two-car crash late Sunday morning at a rural intersection in Watkins Glen, according to the Schuyler County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded to the scene around 10:52 a.m. after receiving reports of the accident near County Route 16 and County Route 17. Upon arrival, emergency crews from Montour Falls Rescue and Schuyler Ambulance found two passengers in one of the vehicles fatally injured.
Authorities have not released further details on the victims or the cause of the crash. The investigation remains active, with updates expected from the sheriff’s office.
