A Rochester man was arrested by Ontario County deputies on October 8 after a routine traffic stop revealed he was driving with a suspended license and without insurance. Alfredo Figueroa, 53, was stopped on State Route 14 in Geneva and subsequently charged with felony aggravated unlicensed operation in the first degree.
According to authorities, Figueroa’s license had been suspended after he failed to appear in court more than 10 times for vehicle and traffic violations. He was also cited for operating without insurance, unlicensed operation, and failing to notify the DMV of an address change.
Figueroa was taken to the Ontario County Jail for arraignment but later released on his own recognizance. He is scheduled to appear in Geneva City Court to address the charges at a later date.
