The New York Mets will be heading to Los Angeles to face the Dodgers in Game 1 of the National League Championship Series on Sunday at 8:15 p.m.
The Dodgers blanked the San Diego Padres, 2-0, on Friday night to advance to the next round.
It will be the Mets’ first appearance in the NLCS since 2015, and the Dodgers’ first since 2021.
The two teams met six times during the regular season, with the Dodgers winning four of the matchups. The Mets took two of three in Los Angeles but got swept at Citi Field.
