A 46-year-old local resident has been charged with harassment after a reported physical altercation at a village establishment.
Jay Wright, of Penn Yan, was issued a criminal summons by police following an investigation into the Oct. 2 incident. Authorities said Wright made unwanted physical contact with another patron during the altercation.
Wright has been charged with second-degree harassment and is scheduled to appear in Penn Yan Village Court at a later date to answer the charge.
The incident was handled by Officer Cole and supervised by Officer Hamm of the Penn Yan Police Department.
