Canandaigua woman charged with felony DWI under Leandra’s Law

A 36-year-old Canandaigua woman was arrested on September 27 for felony driving while intoxicated under Leandra’s Law after allegedly driving intoxicated with a child in the car, authorities said.

Kacy E. Bucklin was taken into custody at 8:04 p.m. following a report of a possible intoxicated driver on Gorham Street. Investigators determined that Bucklin was operating her vehicle while intoxicated, with a five-year-old child as a passenger.

Bucklin was also charged with endangering the welfare of a child. She was transported to the Ontario County Jail for arraignment.
