The Auburn Fire Department responded to a house fire on Fleming Street Wednesday afternoon, managing to bring the blaze under control within an hour. The fire was reported at 52 Fleming St. around 4:30 p.m.
Firefighters worked quickly to contain the garage fire, and by 5:30 p.m., the situation was under control, though crews continued searching for any remaining hotspots.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
