A Newark man was arrested for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle following an incident in Palmyra, the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reported.
Richard T. Parker, 29, was taken into custody on October 1 after allegedly taking a vehicle from a residence without the owner’s consent on September 3.
Parker was processed by deputies at the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office and later transported to Wayne County Jail for further processing.
He was released with an appearance ticket and is due back in the Town of Palmyra Court at a later date to respond to the charges.
