Geneva man charged with DWI following traffic stop in Junius

A Geneva man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after being stopped for speeding in the early hours of September 30, according to the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office.

James L. Truley Jr., 24, of Reed Street, was pulled over by deputies around 12:30 a.m. in the Town of Junius. Following an investigation, Truley was charged with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor, as well as aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the second degree.

Truley was released with an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Town of Junius Court on October 17 at 6:00 p.m. to answer the charges.
