A Scottsville man was arrested early Sunday morning for driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop on State Route 104 in the Town of Huron.
Rodney T. Spickerman, 58, was pulled over by Wayne County Sheriff’s deputies around 6:40 a.m. During the stop, deputies discovered an open container of Bud Light on the passenger floorboard of his vehicle. Field sobriety tests indicated that Spickerman was impaired at the time of the stop.
In addition to DWI, Spickerman was charged with driving while ability impaired, speeding in a 55 mph zone, and open container violations. He was released on appearance tickets and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Huron Court at a later date.
