Several streets in Corning will be closed for a paving project starting Monday, Sept. 30, through Friday, Oct. 4, according to the City of Corning Department of Public Works. Drivers will be unable to park in lots along Tioga Avenue between Wall and Chemung streets while work is underway.
Additionally, from Sept. 30 to Oct. 3, Tioga Avenue between Cedar and Pearl streets will be closed to traffic, with no parking allowed from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The schedule may be adjusted depending on weather conditions.
