A Farmington man was arrested early Sunday morning during a traffic stop in Seneca Falls, leading to drug possession charges and the discovery of an outstanding warrant.
Pablo Soto-Burgos, 50, was taken into custody on Sept. 22 at approximately 3:17 a.m. after police pulled him over for a vehicle and traffic law violation. During the stop, officers learned Soto-Burgos had an active warrant out of Ontario County.
Further investigation revealed Soto-Burgos was in possession of prescription pills not stored in their original container, leading to an additional charge of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
After being processed at the Seneca Falls Police Department, Soto-Burgos was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Seneca Falls Court at a later date. He was then turned over to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office to address the outstanding warrant.
