A Farmington man was arrested for driving while intoxicated and endangering the welfare of children on Sunday.
Jonathan Delgado-Santos, 36, was pulled over by Ontario County Sheriff’s deputies for multiple traffic violations. During the stop, deputies determined that he was driving under the influence of alcohol and had two children under the age of ten in the vehicle.
Delgado-Santos was arrested at the scene and transported to the Ontario County Jail, where he was processed and released to a sober third party. He faces charges of Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated with a Child in the Vehicle, Driving While Intoxicated, Driving While Intoxicated with a BAC of 0.08% or Higher, Endangering the Welfare of a Child Less than Seventeen, Avoiding an Intersection, No Turn Signal, and Tinted Windows.
Delgado-Santos is scheduled to appear in Farmington Town Court on October 7th to answer to the charges.
