Sean “Diddy” Combs, long seen as a music mogul and cultural icon, has been indicted on charges of sex trafficking and racketeering, revealing decades of alleged abuse.
Prosecutors say Combs used his power and influence to exploit others, including through coercive sexual acts and violence.
Combs was arrested Monday after numerous lawsuits accusing him of sexual assault and other serious crimes surfaced in recent months.
He pleaded not guilty and is being held without bail, with prosecutors citing him as a flight risk and danger to the community. Combs was also placed on suicide watch.
