The Tompkins County Industrial Development Agency (IDA) is inviting the public to weigh in on the proposed incentive package for the $580 million SouthWorks project in Ithaca.
A public hearing will be held on Monday, September 30, at 4:30 p.m. at the Town of Ithaca Town Hall. The meeting will offer an overview of the project and allow attendees up to three minutes for comments.
SouthWorks, located at the former Emerson Power Transmission facility, is set to transform the site into a 1.7 million-square-foot mixed-use neighborhood, including 915 housing units and significant commercial and industrial space.
The IDA seeks community input to ensure the project aligns with local needs and development goals.
