A Farmington woman was arrested Sunday evening following a hit-and-run incident in the Town of Canandaigua. According to Ontario County Sheriff’s Deputies, Taryn A. White, 44, was driving a Honda Civic when she struck multiple mailboxes on Brickyard Road and fled the scene.
Deputies located and stopped White’s vehicle shortly after the accident. Upon investigation, they determined she was intoxicated. White was charged with driving while intoxicated, leaving the scene of a property damage accident, and DWI with a prior offense within the last 10 years.
White was taken to the Ontario County Jail, where she is being held pending centralized arraignment. She is expected to appear in Canandaigua Town Court at a later date.
