Award-winning pasta inventor Dan Pashman to host event in Canandaigua

Renowned pasta shape inventor and three-time James Beard Award-winning host of The Sporkful podcast, Dan Pashman, is coming to Finger Lakes Community College on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, for “Anything’s Pastable – An Evening with Dan Pashman.” The event, presented by New York Kitchen, will begin at 6:30 p.m. and promises to be a fun and informative experience celebrating Pashman’s culinary innovations.

Pashman, best known for creating the viral cascatelli pasta shape, will discuss his journey in the food industry, his multiple James Beard Award wins, and the development of his new bestselling cookbook, Anything’s Pastable. The evening will kick off with a welcome reception featuring tastings of Pashman’s recipes prepared by FLCC’s Culinary Arts students. Following the talk, there will be a moderated Q&A session and a book signing meet and greet.

Tickets are available now at nykitchen.com, priced at $65 for adults and $30 for children ages 5-17. This event is open to the public and a perfect way to celebrate National Pasta Month.
