A Canandaigua man was arrested on Saturday for shoplifting at the Tops Market on North Street.
According to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a report of shoplifting at the Tops Market located at 5150 North Street. Joshua Tiffany, 46, was identified as the suspect who had exited the store without paying for $94.90 worth of meat.
Tiffany was apprehended in the area of Main Street and Perry Place and was charged with petit larceny. He was transported to the Ontario County Jail to await arraignment and will appear in Canandaigua Town Court at a later date.
