A Lyons man was taken into custody after a brief foot chase with deputies following an incident involving an active warrant.
Wayne County Sheriff’s deputies responded to Spencer Street on Thursday morning, where Dakota J. Norris, 29, attempted to flee upon learning he had a Family Court warrant from Livingston County. After a short pursuit, Norris was apprehended and charged with resisting arrest and obstructing governmental administration.
Norris was released with an appearance ticket for Lyons Town Court. He was later handed over to the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office to address the warrant.
