The Ira Volunteer Fire Department is hosting a spaghetti dinner to benefit Jim Oot, a local volunteer firefighter and Hannibal school bus driver, who is currently hospitalized and paralyzed from the waist down.
The event will help raise funds for Oot’s mounting medical bills, with the community encouraged to attend, enjoy dinner, and participate in raffles and a 50/50 drawing.
The dinner will take place on September 22 from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Ira Volunteer Fire Department on State Route 176 in Cato. Tickets are $10 at the door or $8 for presale.
