Generations Bank, in partnership with the Bonafiglia Family Foundation, hosted their annual Taste and Tunes event on August 8, 2024, raising $13,300 to benefit local food pantries. The event, held at People’s Park, featured tastings from local wineries, breweries, and food vendors, along with live music by Nate Michaels.
Derek Dyson, CIO of Generations Bank, highlighted the importance of the event, stating, “Taste and Tunes provides the community with another great event to enjoy while supporting our local food pantries. It also offers a chance to spotlight local food and beverages.” Proceeds from the event will support the Seneca County House of Concern, Seneca Falls Backpack Program, CAP of Waterloo, and Trevor’s Gift.
Judy Wentzel, Executive Director of the Bonafiglia Family Foundation, added, “We are grateful to have partners like Generations Bank and local food pantries to explore creative ways to minimize food insecurity.”
The event, which has grown since its inception in 2015, will return in August 2025 with food, beverages, live music, and family-friendly activities.
