Seneca County Sheriff Tim Thompson announced the arrest of a Verona man late Tuesday night for driving while intoxicated in the Village of Waterloo. The arrest occurred on August 27, 2024, at approximately 10:48 p.m.
Joe Frias, 29, was taken into custody after deputies allegedly found him operating a motor vehicle on a public highway while intoxicated. The traffic stop, initiated for speeding and failing to maintain his lane, also revealed that Frias was driving on a suspended license.
Frias was released with an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Town of Fayette Court on September 10, 2024, to answer the charges. The Waterloo Police Department assisted in the arrest.
