As Auburn Cardiology Associates prepares to close its doors on September 30, one of its cardiologists, Dr. Marc Baker, will transition to Auburn Community Hospital’s Heart Institute.
Dr. Baker will join the hospital’s cardiac care center on October 1, ensuring continuity of care for his patients.
Josh Alexander, the hospital’s chief operating officer, emphasized the significance of Baker’s addition, noting that it keeps patients local, avoiding the need to travel to Syracuse or Rochester for cardiac care.
