A former resident of DeMay Living Center in Newark has filed a lawsuit against the facility, alleging negligence that led to multiple injuries in 2023.
The lawsuit was reported Tuesday by the Finger Lakes Times and brought by attorney Anna Cond on behalf of Nancy Tarantelli. It was filed in Wayne County Court.
The suit also names Newark-Wayne Community Hospital and its parent organization, Rochester Regional Health, as defendants. Court docs allege the victim suffered serious injuries after several falls, which her attorneys claim were due to inadequate care and supervision.
