A Lyons man was arrested Sunday after allegedly assaulting his ex-girlfriend in front of her young children, the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office said.
Christian Lormil, 33, was charged with harassment in the second degree and endangering the welfare of a child following a domestic incident on Canal Street. Deputies say Lormil pulled his ex-girlfriend’s hair, repeatedly punched her, and sprayed soda at her, all while her one-year-old daughter and three-week-old son were present.
Lormil had been arrested at least twice in 2023. Once for another domestic incident; and another time for skipping court. He was held for CAP arraignment and will appear in court at a later date for further proceedings.
