The primary results showed Bell leading with 51% of the votes, while Bush garnered 46%. Bell criticized Bush for not collaborating with others, claiming it harmed the district. Bush defended her record, emphasizing her commitment to her community. The district remains a Democratic stronghold, with Bell expected to retain the seat in the November election.
