The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office says a Burdett man faces DWI charges after a violent rollover crash in the town of Covert.
On July 26 at 8:00 p.m., Seneca County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Isaiah I. Bard, 23, of Burdett for Driving While Intoxicated following a rollover crash on County Road 4.
Responding to reports of a vehicle off the road and flipped on its side, deputies conducted field sobriety tests and determined Bard was under the influence of alcohol. Bard was treated for minor injuries at a medical facility and released.
Bard was issued an appearance ticket for DWI, unsafe lane change, and open container violations, and is scheduled to appear in Town of Covert Court on September 13.
Interlaken and Ovid fire departments assisted at the scene.
