A Newark motorcyclist was hospitalized Saturday after colliding with a deer in Palmyra. The accident occurred on Cambier Road, prompting a swift response from first responders in Wayne County.
The rider, identified as 60-year-old David Hotel Jr., was ejected from his motorcycle upon impact with the deer. Mercy Flight airlifted Hotel to Strong Memorial Hospital for treatment.
Emergency responders from East Palmyra Fire Department, Finger Lakes Ambulance, Mercy Flight Central 1, and Seasonall Towing assisted at the scene. The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate the incident.
