Marquest Horton, 21, of Lyons was arrested Wednesday following an investigation into a disturbance in Lyons, the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reported. Horton faces charges of Assault in the Second Degree and Petit Larceny.
Authorities allege Horton attacked a man over 65, punching and pushing him to the ground, causing physical injury. Horton then reportedly stole a case of beer from the victim.
Horton was taken to the Wayne County Jail and arraigned in CAP Court. He is scheduled to appear in Lyons Town Court. The New York State Police assisted in the investigation.
