Police took a 38-year-old Yates County man into custody after a domestic incident where he choked a person, held them down, and then subjected them to unwanted sexual contact all in front of a child.
Penn Yan Police arrested Preston J. Brown, 38, of Branchport on July 18 following the first domestic incident. Brown allegedly choked the victim, held them down, and subjected them to unwanted sexual contact in the presence of a child. He faces charges including sexual misconduct, unlawful imprisonment, and endangering the welfare of a child. Brown was processed and transported to Yates County Jail for arraignment.
The following day, Brown was arrested again for violating an order of protection. He allegedly contacted the protected party, leading to his arrest for criminal contempt. Brown was once more processed at the police department and taken to Yates County Jail.
These arrests highlight Brown’s ongoing legal troubles, with further charges pending as the investigation continues.
