A car crash at the intersection of Ridge Road and North Huron Road resulted in multiple injuries on July 6. The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports that Elijah Winter, 17, of Pittsford attempted to turn north onto North Huron Road and collided with a westbound car.
The other vehicle was driven by David Brown, 56, of Marion. While Winter and his passengers were unharmed, Brown and his passengers sustained serious injuries and were transported to Strong Memorial Hospital, with some requiring helicopter transport.
Winter received a traffic ticket for failing to yield at an intersection. The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Mercy Flight, Wolcott Fire Department, Eastern Wayne Ambulance, and New York State Police.
