Four individuals have been charged after a month-long investigation into the theft and resale of military equipment from various military units in New York.

James Waleski, a federal employee at the 174th Air National Guard Attack Wing, allegedly sold stolen military gear on Facebook Marketplace. A search of his home recovered tens of thousands of dollars worth of equipment, some intended for shipment to Russia.

Gordon Reynolds, a Military Police Officer, and Joriann Garcia-Hernandez, a Unit Specialist, were also implicated. Charges include weapon possession and grand larceny. Authorities urge anyone with information to contact Investigator Carl Schneider at 315-366-6000.
