Wood Library in Canandaigua launches Little Free Farm Stand

Earlier this month the Wood Library began offering a Little Free Farm Stand at 134 N. Main St., Canandaigua, where people can share fresh produce, cut flowers, and starter plants.

Local gardeners donate all items, which are free to the public. Community members are encouraged to give what they can, take what they need, or swap items they can’t use.

Built by Twin-Spruce Customs with donations from last year’s ROCtheDay, the farm stand reflects Wood Library’s commitment to accessibility and community service. Library Director Jenny Goodemote hopes it will address food insecurity, reduce food waste, and promote generosity. The stand is maintained by library staff and volunteers.
