Mets rally late to top Pirates (highlights)

With the New York Mets (44-44) down to their final out, Francisco Lindor delivered a go-ahead two-run single, and Edwin Díaz recorded the final three outs to give them a 3-2 victory over the Pittsburgh Pirates (42-47) on Sunday afternoon in the third game of a four-game series.

This came after Edwin Díaz allowed a go-ahead two-run single in the eighth inning.


Brandon Nimmo opened the scoring with an RBI double.

Sean Manaea tossed six shutout innings while giving up just two hits and striking out six.
