The Wells College Golf Course in Aurora will soon have new owners.
Kevin Fitzgerald and Brian Dugan, who have managed the course for the past three years, are in the process of buying the nine-hole course, according to reporting Monday by The Citizen.
Fitzgerald said they exercised their option to buy the course before Wells College announced its closure at the end of the academic year.
Since taking over in 2021, Fitzgerald and Dugan have renovated the clubhouse and improved the course.
