A man faces 14 charges, including four felonies, after a domestic incident led to a police chase on Sunday.

Christopher M. Hunt, 23, of Williamson, allegedly held a woman against her will at a Washington Street home with two children present. He fled before officers arrived, taking the woman’s car without permission. Police found him near Melone Village, where he abandoned the car and fled on foot before being caught.

Hunt’s charges include aggravated family offense, unlawful imprisonment, and drug possession. He also faces charges for unauthorized use of a vehicle, grand larceny, and fleeing officers. Chief Slayton assured there was no public danger during the pursuit.
