The Williamson Chamber of Commerce celebrated the grand reopening of Rootstock Cider & Spirits on June 26, 2024, under new ownership. The event featured a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by over 30 community members.

Chamber President Nicole Wylie expressed excitement about the reopening, saying, “We are thrilled to have Rootstock back in our community. It’s more than just a cider house; it’s a gathering place for neighbors to connect and celebrate.” The revamped Rootstock now includes a food menu, event space, and a full bar alongside its renowned ciders and spirits.

Co-Owner Brian Shadduck added, “The new team is excited to continue what the DeFisher family started, with some new additions for a great experience.” The event also featured the Chamber’s first Social Mixer since its reboot, providing local businesses a chance to network.
