Oats & O’s, a family-owned breakfast restaurant, is set to open in August at 230 West Union Street, next to Ling Ling Chinese Restaurant. The eatery will feature specialty donuts, breakfast burritos and sandwiches, coffee, and oatmeal with fresh toppings.

Owners Anthony and Ashley Fischkelta, who recently moved from Southern California, are excited to bring their culinary expertise to Newark. “We will offer quick, fresh, and affordable breakfast options,” said Anthony. “We’ll have indoor seating and efficient to-go service to fit everyone’s morning schedule.”

Mayor Jonathan Taylor welcomed the new business, highlighting its significance to the community. Economic Development Facilitator Robbin Bremer added, “Newark thrives on businesses like Oats & O’s, which bring variety and vitality to our village.”
