Ithaca Police responded to two shootings and a related car crash on June 28. The first shooting occurred around 1:35 p.m. in the 400 block of Adams Street. The second happened at 1:57 p.m. in the 100 block of West Village Place. Officers found evidence such as spent shell casings and bullet impacts at both locations.

Later, at 4:04 p.m., police were called to the 300 block of Third Street for a car crash linked to the earlier shootings. It was determined that one vehicle intentionally rammed another. No victims were reported, and all involved parties are believed to know each other, making these non-random acts.
